Now that you have watched your 2 vides and taken notes, create an entry on your blog/website about each video.
Additionally, include details about the Teaching Channel website, how can this site benefit you as a teacher.
Include the links and titles of your 2 videos.
Don't forget to include screen captures
Keep in mind your website is not just for you, it is a place to share resources with your colleagues, other teachers, your instructors, etc.
All information should be in one blog entry and Title the Entry, The teaching Channel.
Adding your Bio and Thinglink image to the About Me Page
Write a little description of yourself to go on your About Me Page of your website. Read mine on my Blog, Technology Bits, Bytes and Nibbles (pin it) and look at about me pages on the blogs from the list Week 1 for more ideas of what to write. Basically, tell just a bit about who you are and maybe why you want to be a teacher or maybe your teaching philosphy. I would type this in a word processor and save it. You will find you will need a description like this quite often on various websites. And who wants to recreate things over and over.
After you have edited your description and it is just the way you need and want it, copy and paste it to the About Me page. See the video in the Help section for step-by-step instructions on how to add your Bio and Thinglink photo to your About Me page.
Add your Thinglink image below your Bio text. See the video in the Help section for step-by-step instructions.
Then publish/update.
NOTE: The instructions for adding your Thinglink to the About Me page using the embed code and the Text tab are what you will use everytime you add something that uses embed code. Also, Thinglink mentions on their site that it is optimized for the Google Chrome Browser. You might find you have to install Chrome to copy the embed code.
